Accommodation for residential artists is located in Lower House, a Visit Britain 4 star Guest House. Attached to the back of this georgian house is the Coach House Studios building.

The house has a fascinating history, the hall retains its original Minton tiled floor and latticed window and the drawing room its ‘draped urn’ coving. All rooms have original art works and we offer exhibition space in the Coach House Studios for local artists, especially during our Open Studios week at the end of August every year.

We hold the SECTA Green Acorn award for environmentally friendly accommodation which includes solar thermal panels for our hot water and solar PV panels for our electricity. We are also members of TAVATA – The Tamar Valley Tourist Association. Non painting partners are welcome to stay with us. We are within easy reach of a number of excellent golf courses. The St. Mellion golf resort is a mere three miles away.

On all courses there will be time in the evenings for you to return to the studio, browse in our library, watch a film from our collection or explore Cornwall.     We have an extensive range of tourist information material. Full details about accommodation are on the Lower House site.
