Terms and Conditions

By booking on any of our courses or accommodation you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.

.What’s included
All basic materials for all courses are included in the price.
All residential courses are full-board including tea/coffee and snacks throughout the day. One day courses include coffee, lunch and tea.                       We reserve the right to make minor amendments to the course content or prices without notice.
.What’s not included
Alcoholic drinks, some specialist art materials.
We have four rooms available for guests; all are en suite but are different sizes.
We charge the same course fee for all the rooms.
In high season we offer a discount for guests sharing one of our large rooms.
If you require a single room it will be available. We will not ask you to share.
Rooms will be allocated in order of booking shortly before the start of the course.
If all our rooms are filled we can obtain accommodation nearby. For this there would be no additional cost and would only be made with the agreement of the guest on booking.
Application requirements
You must be at least 16 years old to attend any course unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
Health & Safety
All guests are responsible for their own safety and must at all times act also with the safety of other guests in mind.
We will advise of any hazardous substances and an introduction to the school will be given on arrival.
We are following government advice which currently is that we maintain a high level of personal and domestic hygiene. This will continue until government advice changes. We request all guests also follow these guidelines.
Special requirements
We will be pleased to try to cater for special dietary requirements. Those with special food needs should discuss this with us before booking. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to cater for all needs but we will try.
Please inform us in advance of any allergies, disabilities, diabetes, pregnancy, epilepsy etc. We regret that we are unable to accept persons who are not fully mobile.
A deposit of £150 per person must be paid at time of booking. This is non refundable after seven days. The balance of the fee, also non refundable, is payable six weeks before the course start date.
If we have to cancel your course before it starts we will refund your fee in full.
In the event of cancellation for whatever reason, any liability shall be limited to the refund of fees to those booked on to the course concerned. No liability shall be held to any other party or for any other costs incurred by the participant.
All bookings are considered firm and no fees are refundable if you have to cancel. It is therefore recommended that you purchase suitable holiday insurance.           We reserve the right to make minor amendments to the course or prices without notice.
Vouchers are valid for one year.
We have one cat and therefore unable to accommodate guest pets.
For the benefit of all and to comply with legislation, Lower House and the Art School are non smoking areas.
Group Bookings
A discount is available for a group booking of six.
The booking will have to made through one person who will be regarded as the group leader through whom all arrangements will be made.
